feeder sound exclusive premiere: Dibe – Activation
Ukrainian artist Dima Belogurov aka Dibe returns to his bandcamp page with a fresh new track titled “Activation”, which we invite you to enjoy exclusively on our soundcloud page.
With an extended activity in the underground electronic music scene for quite some time now, Dibe definitely stands out with his distinct approach to minimal techno and microhouse, which he combines with subtle influences from other genres like dub or electro. Born in Ukraine and now based in Switzerland, he’s well known for his immersive DJ sets, timeless productions, as well as for managing his eponymous vinyl label and Frequencies, while also being a co-owner of Aimed, alongside Orbit and Cheise.
Aside from his ventures, over time he also released his music on labels like Adult Only, Drumma, Serialism, Hoary, Cyclic Records and Arupa Music, with his tracks being supported by renowned artists such as Raresh, Cabanne, Apollonia, Varhat, Miroloja and Sascha Dive, among many others.
The track sets of slowly, laying out uplifting drumming patterns that smoothly complement a prominent bassline, only to explode into a mesmerising amalgamation of twisted effects, wobbling synth arpeggios and subtle psychedelic insertions that renders this composition to be perfect for the dancefloor at peak-time hours.
