feeder sound exclusive premiere: Osvit – Flech LP [CULT.beat]
Ukrainian record label CULT.beat returns with an amazing release, showcasing Osvit‘s debut album “Flech LP”, which includes 11 tracks designed with an inspiring minimalist sound design. Created between 2023 and 2025, the material captures different moods and energies, from faster grooves at 125 BPM to slower movements around 120 BPM and even lower, as the last title dives deep into ambient.
Launched in 2008, CULT.beat began in Odessa with Thursday club nights blending art-house film screenings and immersive electronic music, featuring styles like minimal, techno and microhouse. The project explored multisensory experiences – visual, auditory and emotional – through 3D mapping, art exhibitions, movie-audio fusion, silent parties and more. The gatherings quickly gained recognition, ranking among Ukraine’s top 10 party projects by 2010. More than 50 events united global artists and DJs, featuring distinctive performances that fused electronic music with live instruments like the harp, didgeridoo and violin to create a truly immersive experience.
Over time, CULT.beat evolved into an international platform for innovation, launching its label and podcast series in order to bring its aesthetic to digital and vinyl releases, all while staying rooted in experimentation, video art and the freedom of creative expression. Among the collaborating artists we find VENDi, Paul K, Railean, CL-ljud, Veruh, Never Alone In A Dark Room, Oleg Makovskiy, Nopau, Clock Poets, Dragomir, Yansima and residents Booch, El Gringo, Olympic Snow, Fred and Osvit.
“The album was written during a difficult time – in the midst of war, shelling and power outages – but despite everything, the music retains its dancefloor energy and inner dynamism. The opening and closing tracks hold special meaning for me. Both were produced in April 2025. The first introduces a new technical approach and a fresher sound, while the last is a free improvisation blending elements of minimal and ambient. The release on CULT.beat is no coincidence, as the label became a true creative platform for me where I could fully express myself. Flech LP marks an important stage in my journey and I feel like it’s only the beginning.” – Osvit
Osvit is a well-known figure in the Ukrainian electronic music scene for quite some time now, always delivering top-notch sets and productions. Among the labels he worked with, we find Conceptual Records, Simple Things, Soblazn, Binaural Arts, Tzinah, Genesis Records, High-Jack Records, Pulsar Music, CerSenin, Merger Music and Stamp, to name a few. He also participated in Vol. III of our “Peace in Ukraine” Various Artists series, which you can find and support here.

Incorporating intricate minimalistic rhythms and textures, the LP truly stands out with its carefully designed arrangements, highlighting Yura’s distinct take on modern electronic music. From low-slung and stripped-down percussion patterns that include pure minimal techno and breakbeat sections to complex glitches, distorted background elements and fuzzy atmospheres, each track becomes a part of an organic sonic experience that seamlessly flows and inspires. Distinct yet connected by an evolving narrative, the material delivers an immersive sound, perfect for dimly lit dancefloors. Listen to the snippets below:
