UK-based label Yecad Music returns with its 6th vinyl-only release in the form of “Arcane EP” signed by local artist Bryz. The record offers three original tracks designed with resonant minimal vibes and oriental influences that add an extra layer of mystery to the whole journey, while the mastering was provided by Rob Small. Founded by Davide Zambetta and Albi, the imprint published its first release in 2023, an amazing VA featuring Sepp, Vlad Arapasu, Swoy and Ted Amber, followed by memorable EPs from Dragutesku, Constratti, Barac and Dana Ruh.

Emanuel Coman aka Bryz has been around for quite some time now, always dropping inspiring DJ sets, productions and remixes. Aside from his own playground Esente Records, he also collaborated with prestigious ventures like Storytellers, Tzinah, Dubøka Records, Verum, Zebra Records, Unic, Need For Sound, Bread And Butter Recordings, Welter, Concept Records, Auroom and Na Zrak, among others.

Side A is reserved for the title track “Arcane”, a vibrant composition fueled by crisp percussion patterns, a rich and warm bassline, ethereal vocal samples and immersive textures enriched by subtle exotic motifs. This hypnotic sonic journey is perfect for peak-time moments, no doubt.

On the flip we first have “Calida”, an equally groovy cut where raw, shuffling drums intertwine with resonant synth arrangements, weighty sub bass swells and plucked guitar licks, while “Iridian” closes the EP with sweeping pad lines, bubbling arpeggios, oscillating synth flutters and stripped-down drumming layers, making this 12″ a delight for vinyl lovers, collectors and selectors alike.
