Spanish imprint Raru Movement brings forward the 3rd chapter of its musical journey in the form of “Leviosa” EP with Nektar Agu, Lucas Moss and Barac in the spotlight. The record dives deep into minimal techno, delivering an immersive sound crafted for dimly lit dancefloors that perfectly captures the label’s concept and interest. Previous releases feature Dragutesku and label head Lucas Moss with remixes from Traumer, Vlad Arapasu and Nu Zau.
Argentine artist Agustin Martin aka Nektar Agu is widely known for his constant activity in the international underground scene, having numerous performances and releases under his belt. His tracks and sets manage to gather just the right pieces of an electronic music puzzle that spans various genres and styles with an accent on minimalist constructions rooted in house, techno and IDM. Among the labels he worked with we find Sleep is Commercial, Osmosis Audio, The Untold Stories, Re.Face Limited, Fake Records, Na Zrak, Eli.sound, Memoria Recordings, Tied, Pulsar Music and The Beat Of The Street, among others.
Side A opens with the title track “Leviosa”, a low-slung composition powered by pulsating drumming patterns, shuffling microlayers, glitchy effects and ethereal atmospheres that blend with murky vocal samples, creating a mysterious vibe perfect for late-night sessions. Following, “Forty Eyes” sees Nektar Agu and Lucas Moss team up in order to take the journey even further down the line. Together, they assemble a minimal odyssey infused with lush jazzy tones, stripped-down percussive elements, enveloping vocals and introspective breakdowns.
Lucas Moss is a Chilean producer and DJ now based in Barcelona who has quickly become one of the most exciting new talents in the scene. His distinct sound caught the attention of many established artists who have supported his music at iconic events like Space Miami, Music On, Circo Loco and Sunwaves, music released via renowned labels like Hottrax, Solid Grooves Raw, Revival, Libero, Issues, Roush Label, Micronica, DRG Limited and Drumma Records.
On Side B we find Barac‘s remix of the title track, a groovy reinterpretation designed with his fingerprint sound that merges the realm of sensations with the unknown, delivering an equally driving and mystical auditory experience.
