As the student resistance against the socio-political unrest in Serbia continues, the voices grow louder and the fight is far from over. BUNT returns with the 2nd volume of their Various Artists compilation series released in solidarity with the movement, revealing another round of 31 tracks, this time featuring Borgie, Cosmic Eve, Dejan Milicevic, Ed Because, Etzu Mahkayah, Filip Zarkic, Gramophonedzie feat. LUNA, Hiva, Hobin Rude, Igor Jadranin, Ilija Djokovic, Isidor, Lacovetti, Lansky, Lovac Na Snove feat. Zeljka Milosevic, Mark Myself, Marko Miletic, Milos Vujovic, Mirko & Meex, Nino Sebelic, Noise Destruction, RanchaTek, Rub A Dub, SevdahBABY ft. The compilation builds on the energy of the first volume, bringing together fresh sounds, new perspectives and the same unwavering determination. From driving rhythms that fuel the marches to thought-provoking soundscapes, these tracks carry the heartbeat of a movement that refuses to fade.

Aleksandar Pavic aka DJ Lale, steadily transitioned from a JAT steward to a pioneer of Serbia’s electronic scene, as he found his passion for music at an early age. In 1991, he discovered electronic music in London, embracing its underground movement to the full. By 1992, back in Belgrade, he joined a select group shaping the local scene, which led him to co-found Happy People and launch the city’s first progressive record shop alongside a collective that shared the same love for music, art and fashion. As a key force in clubbing, they toured Serbia and Eastern Europe, introducing fresh sounds to the people. After 1998, Lale shifted focus to establishing international collaborations, organising events in collaboration with London’s finest DJs and producers.

His passion for fusing live instruments, samplers and effect machines with electronic beats led to projects like Just Us and Manu while his discography includes releases on labels like Hit Beat Records (Italy), Proloop (Sweden), VTVA (Germany), Brosh (Serbia) and Manuscript Records (Ukraine), the latest in collaboration with Adam Collins.

Once again, all proceeds will go directly to supporting student initiatives, legal aid for detained protesters and platforms that amplify their voices. This is more than music. It’s a movement that’s not stopping now.
