Telum’s sister label, Aurum, is back with another heavyweight release for the 5th chapter of the series, this time featuring none other than Ukrainian DJ and producer Silat Beksi, who delivers three mesmerizing minimal grooves enriched with deep, rolling basslines and a nostalgic touch. With early support from some of the industry’s top names, the EP is designed to ignite dancefloors worldwide, highlighting Silat’s mastery of the craft once again.

With previous EPs from Nu Zau, Mihai Pol, Swoy and an Unknown Artist, Aurum aims to provide top-quality minimal house and techno music in vinyl-only format while creating unique connections and opportunities between artists from all over the world. It’s nice to see Silat Beksi joining the roster, as his constant contribution to the scene is well-known in the international community, from memorable DJ sets to managing Modeight and releasing inspiring productions via labels like Mulen, Jelly Beast Limited, Vivus Records, Pleasure Zone, Hashplant, Unic, Tied, Particular, Third Stream and Micronica Records, to name a few.

Side A is reserved for “Save The Machine”, a steady-paced minimal composition fueled by swinging drumming patterns, a pumping bassline, spiralling pads and immersive breathing moments, perfect for peak-time moments at any party. On the flipside the journey continues with “Sefirot” and “Dao” diving deep into psychedelic rhythms and textures, laying out warm, meandering melodies that evoke the connection between the twisted dimensions of sound and soul.
