Well-known for his atmospheric and uplifting sound with a heavy emphasis on groove, Vincent Casanova is no newcomer to the minimal scene. Since his formative days in the NYC underground some 20 years ago, he produced a sizeable catalogue of releases on acclaimed record labels and performed at numerous events and festivals around the world.
Vincent’s first vinyl release arrived in 2004 on New York’s Sifted Recordings, followed by a multitude of EPs, VA tracks, remixes and seven LPs published by imprints like Archipel, Pirka, Tzinah, Tip Tap Records, Epsilonlab, Subtropical Records, Miniatura, Simple Things, Kanja Records, Social Underground, Heisenberg, Skip Audio, Metronome and his own venture, Stay Random Natasha.
Currently residing in Europe, his productions and DJ sets reflect the hypnotic influences of the flourishing Romanian sound, yet his style incorporates a diverse musical palette from synthwave and shoegaze to breakbeat, house, techno and minimal. Range and depth are tightly linked as he always generates new moods and unpredictable sonic explorations for selectors and music lovers alike.
