feeder sound exclusive premiere: Linus Duewer – Escapism Tools (w. Jakob Seidensticker Remix) [Paulum]
Paulum Records is thrilled to announce that the upcoming debut EP from Hamburg-based producer Linus Duewer will arrive very soon. Titled “Escapism Tools”, the material will drop three original cuts and a remix signed by the esteemed Jakob Seidensticker of Wareika.
A young and highly talented DJ and producer, Linus Duewer is the co-owner of the Bladehouse label and a key figure in the underground electronic music scene in Germany. This EP marks his official debut and features his unique approach to music-making to the world, signalling a promising journey for the artist. Another iconic name in the minimal community, Jakob Seidensticker elegantly complements the release with a remix, encapsulating the essence of Paulum Records‘ commitment to showcasing both emerging and established artists alike.

It was a big quest for him because he is a crazy perfectionist… now he can be more calm and go on making music with a better and easier feeling. Kitsch Cluster is exactly what the name says: a lot of kitsch, coming all together in one groove! He used his own vocals and loved to spend 120 channels on this track. Fuelled by swinging drumming patterns, a funky wobbling bassline and dynamic vocals, “Kitsch Cluster” delivers a punchy tech sound perfect for peak-time moments at any party. The electric complementary layers create engaging breakdowns while the tempo calls for a dance.
The other two originals are equally amazing, with the opening track “Variable Affairs” laying out a groovy sound flavoured with funk house, tech house and minimal influences and “Looping Jazz” diving into a deeper sonic realm based on deep house and jazz elements. Jakob Seidensticker’s remix closes the EP with style, taking the original into a spiralling ride through the frequencies by adding extra layers of chords, pads and effects.
