MixCult Records presents “Echo Scapes. Clutch”, an immersive Various Artists compilation showcasing Deep and Dub Techno rhythms and textures signed by Eric Louis, Kirill Matveev, Genning, Tm Shuffle and Nicolas Barnes. The VA offers four compelling tracks designed with rich sonic atmospheres and emotive depths, perfect for introspection and relaxation.

Founded in Saint Petersburg, Russia, by Kirill Matveev and relocated to Europe in 2022, MixCult is a record label, radio station and online record store devoted to modern electronic music. The project also enjoys a weekly radio show on Evosonic Radio (DE) while operating sub-labels like MUD TRAX, Believe In Records, Adlibitum Tum Tunes, Panna Cotta Music, NOREPRESS, Spitzer, Tamizdat and Crystal Mud.

Side A opens with “Voice Memo” by Eric Louis, laying out an ethereal and reflective atmosphere powered by weaving basslines, pulsating chords and driving drumming patterns smoothly complemented by shuffling hi-hats. Following, Genning’s remix for Kirill Matveev’s “Never Losing That Track” reveals a stripped-down version that expands on the essence of the original, enriching it with dynamic rhythms and ethereal synths that glide over a relentless beat. A feeling of nostalgia is also present yet it elegantly blends into the meandering background melodies.

On Side B we first find “Artist” by Tm Shuffle delivering an intense combination of dub techno elements, funky swings and vocal motifs perfect for energetic mornings on the dancefloor while “Outro” by Nicolas Barnes closes the whole journey with a contemplative, ambient-infused composition that invites the listener to dive deep into the sound and its spiralling atmosphere.
