Buta Records presents the 5th volume of their ongoing Various Artists series inspired by the architecture of the city of Baku, Azerbaijan, where the label is located. The release features an amazing collection of 17 tracks focused on minimal, microhouse, deep house and techno, carefully crafted by Beiger, CAlinie, Dimola, DOJAS, Drisan, Khan, Kohman, Nemec, Never Alone In A Dark Room, OneKnock, Orbitson, Osman Oz, Raffy Peyre, Strack, Unus Emre, Vlad Bretan and Ted Amber, the one behind today’s exclusive premiere.

Curated by Mhrrmv, Kondo, and Ruslan Masalygin, Buta Records was launched in 2023 and constantly contributed to the growth of the electronic music scene in Azerbaijan while opening to the international community, inviting established and rising artists alike to collaborate on their Various Artists releases or to drop memorable solo EPs.

Starting in full heat, the cut delivers an uplifting and punchy rhythm powered by relentless drumming patterns, shuffling background layers, echoing vocal samples and funky guitar chords here and there. The carefully placed breakdowns help create a hypnotic atmosphere perfect for the dancefloor.

The other tracks are equally engaging, waving beautiful textures and crunchy grooves that extend well into minimal, microhouse and closely related genres, providing an intriguing package for anyone’s digital collection.
