Romanian DJ and producer Emanuel Coman aka Bryz returns to his label Esente Records with “Self Definition EP”, marking the imprint’s second vinyl-only release while dropping four amazing tracks designed with his signature sound, an uplifting combination of minimal and microhouse grooves with a subtle progressive influence that imbues everything with deep emotional energy.
Well-known in both local and international electronic music scenes, Bryz has steadily built a name for himself, always polishing his style and delivering timeless releases via Esente Records as well as in collaboration with labels like Samani, Tzinah, Verum, Duboka, Storytellers, Bread And Butter Recordings, Unic, Need For Sound, Vandalism Black Series, Welter and Concept Records, among others.
Side A opens with “Slippery”, a fluid exploration of rhythm and texture powered by wobbling synth rotations, phased chords and inviting whispered vocals, all flowing into the atmosphere of the title track “Self Definition” which dives deeper into self-reflective tones, capturing the essence of personal expression.
The journey elegantly continues on the flipside, with “She’s Infinite Bliss” and “Eternal Sheevy”, two contemplative yet groovy cuts highlighted by ethereal soundscapes, steady-paced drumming patterns and pulsating layers perfect for the dancefloor.
