Feel cosy in the ’70s chairs or try the three-legged chairs designed by architect Serban Sturdza, a temporary gift for FROG, until you buy them. Savart is a contemporary gourmet restaurant located in the centre of Bucharest between Romana Square and Calea Victoriei, near the Romanian Athenaeum.
Savart chef and co-owner Manuela Paraschivescu is a graduate of the prestigious French gastronomic academy Grégoire Ferrandi and went into professional training in the kitchen of two Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris: Le Grand Vefour, under guidance from Guy Martin and Le Thoumieux, under guidance from Jean-François Piège. At Savart Manuela Paraschivescu sets forth her own gastronomic vision by creating an eclectic menu, with influences from all over the world, with flavour combinations which are surprising yet friendly, with Asian, Maghrebian and South-American perfumes mixed with products belonging to classic French gastronomy. The menu is high class and contemporary, sometimes playful and sometimes sophisticated, with dishes cooked in our kitchen to the last bite, with no chemical additives, but with 100% natural ingredients very carefully chosen, taking into account seasonality and giving priority to local producers.
Sera Eden
Str. C. A. Rosetti 37
Open: Mon-Fri: 12:00-23:00; Sat-Sun: 10:00-23:00
“SERA Eden is located in the courtyard of a mansion that once belonged to the Brătianu family in the centre of Bucharest. It is bordered by the Vietnamese embassy on one side, the Hungarian embassy on the other side, and a greenhouse behind the fence in the backyard. Such a neighbourhood inspired us to transform an existing structure into a glass house. It is a unique urban hub specializing in mixology and the art of taste.”

Str. Fluierului 33
Open: Wed-Fri: 18:00-23:00; Sat:12:00-15:00 and 18:00-23:00
“The Soro Lume kitchen is a living show, and like the fire, it keeps going. It’s more than just a kitchen or a place to cook. It has the air of a Romanian gastronomic temple. It is, if I may say so, the wet dream of all the children who have spent fairytale winters by the stove and unforgettable summers by the stove, oven or ogee with their grandparents.”
“Soro Lume is a non-romantic restaurant created after solid research in Romania.
Based on local ingredients, open-fire techniques, forgotten recipes, multiculturalism and micro-regionalism.”
