Adam’s Bite label manager Martinesque returns to the imprint with a fresh EP titled “Curtain Call”, showcasing his artistry with two original cuts and a sleek instrumental mix while also marking yet another amazing release in the catalogue and his return following the acclaimed debut album “Think Outside The Box” released last year.

Hailing from Basel, Adrian Martin aka Martinesque has spent the past decade etching his mark into both the Swiss and international electronic music scenes, not only through his work and timeless releases on Adam’s Bite but also by playing a pivotal role in curating the bookings at the iconic Elysia club until 2023, a beacon for underground culture enthusiasts.

Since 2020 when the record label set sails, for those attuned to the pulse of minimal, microhouse and closely related genres, the discography offers carefully selected music signed by artists like Ion Ludwig, Iuly. B, Traumer, Barac, Cristi Cons, Cesar Merveille, Christopher Ledger, Nu Zau, Red Pig Flower, Audio Werner, Lumieux, Floog, Brizman and Flabbergast.

Slowly building momentum, the instrumental version of “The Final Hour” reveals a steady-paced composition designed with deep intricate atmospheres, ethereal chord sequences, gritty bass notes and off-kilter percussion while the vocal version concludes the record with style, introducing a hypnotic spoken world vocal to the main composition.

Taking up Side A, “Drama” lays down twitchy synth lines, squelchy acid bass tones and resonant flutters alongside spiralling dub echoes, murky vocals and crisp, shuffled drums, making this release a must-have for your electronic music collection.
