After a fantastic debut with Cloud Gate VA (Sascha Dive, Moreon & Baffa, Kike Mayor, Chklte) followed by the equally amazing Nuestra Lucha EP signed by He Did alongside Priku & Franco Cinelli on remixes duties, Spas Records returns with its third pressing titled The Bridge, the label’s second Various Artists compilation, this time featuring Direkt, VincentIulian, Alvaro Medina and Pinto.

Recently launched and continuously growing its vinyl catalogue, Spas Records is making waves in the scene, as each release the imprint puts out focuses on quality electronic music, with Pheek behind the mastering and VinylFuture as the manufacturer. The record arrives in a limited number of copies.

Side A kicks in with the uplifting vibes of “Hubble” by Direkt, revealing a vibrant cosmic setting designed with meandering chords, lightweight background atmospheres, groovy drumming patterns and a rumbling bassline while VincentIulian switches gears with “Brokenh”, delivering a jazzy composition focused on broken beats, phased vocal samples and a more bubbly approach to the overall synthesis of the complementary layers.

Side B opens with “St1” by Alvaro Medina, a steady-paced cut flavoured by uptempo percussion patterns, eerie vocal distortions, mysterious pads, trumpet samples and extended breathing moments designed to increase tension. Pinto closes the VA with “Watercolors”, a breezy track with all the ingredients required for laid-back afternoon sessions or the afterhours.
