Prepare for a fresh musical journey as Selekt Sounds, a Brooklyn-based record label, unveils its 7th release titled “Shadow Dance Sonata” EP. This latest EP offers three captivating minimal tracks produced by Slovenia-based artist Papilla, with a mesmerising psychedelic remix by today’s featured artist, Rareș Romanov.

Hailed for its dedication to bringing hypnotic, jazzy, and psychedelic vibes to the forefront, Selekt Sounds has once again expanded its catalogue with this distinctive release. So far, they have featured DJs and producers like Easterle Paolini, Herck, Vermeil, Modebaku, Firesc, Ali Demir, TIJN, Hendriks Toth, Nektar Agu, and label founder Rupert Wall, among others. It is hard not to mention that the label is secretly working on releasing a new vinyl record with a distinguished and remarkable artist.

The EP opens with “Cameron Diazepam” and “Amor Fati,” two original tracks by Papilla. These tracks deliver stripped-back grooves that draw listeners into a minimal chill trance. On the B side, “Behind Bars” takes the spotlight, culminating in a thoughtful, mind-bending remix by Rareș Romanov, who adds his signature daydreaming flair to the remix.
