The well-known Various Artists series from Expmental Records returns with a fresh twist. Since last year, we’ve decided to change the sound of our July release, bringing a more downtempo and electronica vibe. We’ve kept those low BPMs that are a favourite of our label boss, Eddy Romero. This time, we have 5 tracks—4 originals and one remix—that you’re going to love. Our label boss starts things off with a fusion of his two aliases, Eddy Romero and Saturnz Other Soul, in a track titled “The Dilema.” that takes you on a personal trip through his intricate soundscapes and the vocals. Following that, the magnificent Dad Of The Year lands with a very strong track that mixes many parts of his unique world, keeping his recognizable groove with cinematic melodies and a vocal that accompanies the trip splendidly.

In the third part of this VA, we have Fábel, a master in downtempo and electronica sounds, who mixes jazz vibes and dub movements in a masterpiece for lovers of this genre. This exceptional track comes paired with a remix by Saturnz Other Soul, which takes the original version to another dimension. Lastly, we welcome back French artist Chillohm, who previously gave us a more dub house style and now brings a track with ethnic sounds that periodically represent the evolution of our label.
