We are excited to have hris2 again in our feeder sound podcast series this weekend
hris2 is a Bucharest-born DJ who has been deeply connected to the Romanian underground electronic music scene for nearly seven years. His love for music began with ROminimal and micROhouse and has expanded to include influences from artists like Apollonia, tINI, Phil Weeks, Brett Johnson, DJ Sneak, Mark Farina, and others. His musical interests include hip-hop, rap, jazz, blues, rock, and trip-hop. Three years ago, he participated in one of our feeder sound Open Calls for DJs and producers, showcasing his love for music in a set you can listen to here. hris2 is known for his versatility as an artist, able to adapt quickly to any environment and audience. He’s passionate about digging for music in record stores worldwide and enjoys showcasing long-lost gems to his audience. Although he has a strong foundation in house, dub, and minimal music, his style is not limited to one genre. His mixes always include groovy tunes, and he constantly surprises the crowd with unexpected tracks.
“This is a recording from last fall – the second year in a row we had our Swiss guests from Under the Tree over at now beloved and gone Gradina Monteoru, and besides Charlie and myself being the local representatives, Apoteoz and Romano Corsini completed the lineup. I had the closing duties of an amazing and eclectic night. It was one of the last parties in the garden, and everyone danced until all the last moments. Enough said, enjoy the trip and see you again soon!”

feeder sound 429, mixed by hris2, was recorded at Gradina Monteoru in Bucharest. It features the closing Under the Tree party after Charlie, Apoteoz, and Romano Corsini. In his set, he combines minimal, microhouse, and dub tracks with his signature basslines to set the party in motion, gradually building up the rhythm and tempo.
