A veteran of NY’s underground electronic scene Connie Yin is known for her dynamic mixing style and rhythmic sensibility. She seamlessly blends forward-thinking 4/4 beats with the rhythmic precision she has honed as a rock drummer and bass player.

As a resident DJ for ReSolute and with tours spanning from Brazil to Dubai, Connie Yin has shared the stage with distinguished DJs and producers like tINI, Shonky, Markus Sommer, Shaun Reeves, Fumiya Tanaka, Craig Richards, Francesco Del Garda, or Doudou MD to name a few.

In addition to her DJing, Connie Yin has been producing music since 2009 under the monikers conStar and Connie, with releases on notable labels such as Bedrock Records, Moteur Ville Musique and Decay Records. Currently is working on projects with longtime friend Karina Chaczabian as C&K and collaborating with J Gabriel on various endeavours.

Showcasing her talents across multiple genres Connie’s musical versatility extends to playing in various bands, like Jilted Lover, where she drums and writes songs; Bricklip, where she plays bass guitar; Chic Choc, a techno synthpop band; and Bover Cand, an 80s cover band. Additionally, Connie has ventured into creating music videos, showcasing her versatility and creative flair.

“This fun mix was recorded in my Bushwick, New York home studio in May 2024. The music I gravitate to has always been quirky, often bouncy, with lots of intelligence AND attitude. It is an emotional mix starting a bit on the darker / dronier / minimally side and slowly getting techy, deep, and ending playfully funky. Enjoy!”
