After the first official collaboration between the Italian duo Entoniu & Agape and Simone Tagliabue back in 2020 on “Hempatia EP“, the three artists return to 21th Street Records with “Picture EP”, delivering two original tracks and a remix signed by local artist Alex Baciu. Based in Milan, Simone Tagliabue is well-known for his consistent work on the international scene, having numerous performances and releases under his belt. Among the labels he collaborated with we find DubGestion, Generatia’90, Punchis, Whoyostro LTD, Kootz Music, Lethal Dose Recordings, Perception Dub and Miaw, to name just a few. A self-taught pianist, experimentalist, producer and DJ, passionate about modern electronic music, Simone likes to dive deep into his sets or compositions, always delivering immersive journeys.
The picture EP is a collaboration with Simone Tagliabue our old friend. This EP was made with 6 hands but with a unique Heart, the passion for the music!!!

Naming the EP, “Picture” drops an uplifting deep tech sound perfect for peak-time moments on the dancefloor. Designed with warm pads that constantly build tension as they get elegantly complemented by meandering chords and whispering vocals, the groove rolls with a relentless drive powered by carefully placed breakdowns and arrangements.
Returning to the label after his “Sens Unic EP” has been published last year, Alex Baciu takes charge of the remix, dropping the background textures and focusing on the percussion elements. Here, he lays out a dynamic stripped-down version washed in reverberations and filters, best fitted for the early hours of the day.
The other original cut “They Live” is definitely inspired by John Carpenter’s cult classic sci-fi movie from 1988, as the melancholic feeling embedded into the core layers dives deep into the subconscious and sparks twisted daydreams and a strange feeling to dance.
