Ukrainian artists Paul March and Nick Neiman team up for a steaming collaboration and the first track to emerge surely delivers the vibes. Brought forward through Dreaming Over Poltava electronic music collective and mastered by Dragutesku, “Swipe” has all the ingredients needed for the track to be considered a solid warm-up weapon that will surely shake dancefloors worldwide.
With releases on labels like Razom, Welter, Colour In Music, So Tight, Tempora Records and Unclosed Music, Nick Neiman has been making waves in the underground scene for quite some time now, always delivering distinct grooves infused with minimal and microhouse flavours. Paul March is a rather mysterious artist but we will certainly hear more about him soon.
“The cut delivers an aggressively attractive 303 bassline and vocal parts of the main character from the Grand Theft Auto series Niko Bellic that describes his common values and vibe. You can also hear classical game sounds used in rich loops and mixed with an ethnically sounding pad that digs into your mood to make you feel like how we’re dreaming over Poltava.”
Characterised by a constant tension-building sound, “Swipe” drops an uplifting minimal techno rhythm designed with twisted acidic synth effects, straight-to-the-point vocal cuts and carefully placed breakdowns. This one goes out to all of those who know exactly what they want to hear on the dancefloor.
