This Friday we feel the groove with Dani Ramos at the controls dropping a special DJ set for our ongoing podcast series.
Berlin-based Dani Ramos has recently launched her record label Cachonda Records with “Como Te Extrano EP” alongside Tripmastaz on remix duties, marking another important chapter in her artistic career. Her previous collaborations include an amazing record made with Luciano and DeWalta published via Vatos Locos as well as digital gems released with imprints like Kindisch, Voltaire Music, Sweatbox, Planet E and her own playground La Marquise which is deeply connected with Lacroix Studios in Germany.
Since 2009 Dani has been very active in the scene, performing alongside artists like Luciano, Martin Buttrich, Seth Troxler, Nick Warren, Guti, Hiroko Yamamura, Damian Lazarus and Priku at various events ranging from Pacha in Ibiza, Circoloco in Cartagena, BPM in Costa Rica, Sonar in Argentina, Watergate, CDV and Hopetosse in Berlin. More events and new releases are going to be announced soon, so make sure you follow her online channels in order to stay updated.
“I definitely love house music and everything that goes around its groovy sounds that makes us dance like there is no tomorrow. I also included an unreleased track of mine called “Get Funky” around 17 minutes into the set. I will make a funky EP this year and add more tracks like this one, with some great producers. There are also some bumpy eclectic sounds and some garage music, that makes me dance in very special ways. Hope you enjoy the set but a friendly reminder is to dance more than just listen.”
