Colombian-born and now Berlin-based DJ and producer Dani Ramos presents “Como Te Extrano EP”, the first vinyl-only record out now in a limited number of copies on her freshly founded record label Cachonda Records alongside Tripmastaz on remix duties.

Daniela has been active in the international electronic music scene since 2001 always delivering inspiring productions as well as memorable dancefloor experiences for the people while sharing the decks with artists like Martin Buttrich, Luciano, tINI, Nick Warren, Clive Henry, Blondish, Ministry of Sound, Guti, Cesar Merveille, Roger Sanchez and Mike Shannon, among others. As a skilled audio engineer she now runs and co-owns Lacroix Studios in Berlin and La Marquise record label alongside Carlota and SLF.

The thundering low-slung minimal groove of the title track “Como Te Extrano” opens the A-Side with style and we already know that this cut will be all over soon, carefully placed in night sets here and there, all over the world. The spiralling synth sequence that remains at the core of it all smoothly blends with the vocals and the solid rhythm while the breakdowns dive deeper and deeper into hypnotic affairs.

Following, “Mirame” switches gears for an uplifting sound flavoured with exotic elements, wobbling basslines and carefully placed breathing moments while on the flip Tripmastaz‘s take on A1 receives a twisted reconstruction designed with equally deep and uptempo fragments dubbed in smooth minimal techno colours. Definitely a must-have for collectors and selectors alike.
