For this episode of our ongoing podcast series, we invite Jemmi to showcase his skills in an amazing selection featuring his own productions.
Cem Sagisman aka Jemmi had a strong passion for electronic music since his early teenage years, being influenced by artists like Booka Shade and M.A.N.D.Y. while drawing inspiration from the Detroit and Chicago sounds as well as liquid drum’n’bass and downtempo. After discovering the Romanian minimal and microhouse styles, his ideas started to take shape for the future. Having been an avid collector of carefully selected underground music for years, the transformation of becoming a producer and DJ was just a matter of time.
Throughout time Jemmi released some of his works independently while others were published by labels like Podvodo, Tzinah, Zebra Records, Re.Face, H24 Musique, PhonicHouse1, Resonance Music, Not Allowed, Carpathian Sounds, Unclosed Music, Welter, Tranquil and Concept, among others. His style incorporates deep and mysterious soundscapes that simultaneously resonate with his personality and in return create an intimate and genuine connection with his listeners.
feeder sound 380 mixed by Jemmi dives deep into his own productions, laying out a hypnotic carousel of rhythms and textures perfect to get you all warmed up for the upcoming weekend. From immersive compositions to driving grooves, there’s an overall organic and ever-evolving sonic affair that’s being revealed here, so adjust the volume of your speakers and enjoy the ride with the volume up!
