American Midwestern electronic music venture Tied welcomes Ukrainian DJ and producer Silat Beksi to its vinyl catalogue with “Objects EP”, bringing forward three sophisticated stripped-down minimal grooves that catch a perfect glimpse of the artist’s signature style. This definitely adds even more magic to the label’s journey which also features amazing works from the likes of Matheiu, Dieru, Ciphr, Topper and Nektar Agu, among others.

Silat Beksi surely needs no complex introduction, as he’s been constantly appearing here and there, dropping steaming remixes, hypnotic edits or intriguing and inspiring solo materials with well-known imprints like Bread And Butter Recordings, Eagervision Records, Particular, KOI Series or his own Modeight Records, to name just a few.

Side A opens with “The Call”, a meandering steady-paced rhythm designed with a constant drive and ever-evolving hypnotic rotations, perfect for peak time moments at any party. Following, “What You Say” switches gears for a deeper style, laying out a rather atmospheric sound powered by low-tempo broken beats and intricate complementary textures and effects. On the flipside we find the title track “Objects”, a delphic and experimental minimal techno cut influenced by ambient and IDM elements, best-fitted for dimly lighted dancefloors. A highly recommended record right here, for collectors and selectors alike.
