Dumitrescu – Systematic Soul EP (w. Daniel Broesecke Remix) [Particular]

German record label Particular returns with its 6th pressing in the form of “Systematic Soul EP” signed by up-and-coming Romanian artist Dumitrescu alongside label head Daniel Broesecke on remix duties. Well-known for its amazing releases, the imprint is closely tied with Vivus Records and throughout time delivered top-notch audio works from the likes of Lumieux, Silat Beksi, Andu Simion, Sebastian Eric and, of course, Daniel himself.

Currently based in London, Dumitrescu has made a name for himself quite fast, as his productions really stand out and bring a new kind of minimal techno sound to the people. Combining subtle elements from various genres into a distinct style, his music caught the attention of some of the biggest names in the scene therefore you can find his first records out on Atipic, Midas Touch and Unutrei.

Side A opens with the immersive sounds of “Systematic Vision”, a laid-back composition designed with ever-evolving aspects that incorporate mysterious background texture and noises, haunting atmospheric pads and a powerful bassline that’s meant to take the listener into a state of perfect bliss. Following, “Mesmerising Soul” goes even deeper, laying out a relaxing and hypnotic vibe perfect for the afterhours or breezy selections by the sea.

On Side B we find “Synthesia” and Daniel Broesecke‘s remix. While the original drops an intricate and rather pragmatic affair flavoured with breaks and electro arrangements, the reinterpretation adds just the right touch for the track to be blasted on the dancefloor so that people can get their feet moving.
