exclusive premiere: t.quoise – life in reverse [soundsphere]
Romanian venture Soundsphere returns with “life in reverse” LP signed by local artist t.quoise, who brings forward an immersive downtempo affair flavoured with trip-hop, IDM, ambient and psychedelic rhythms and textures, perfect to take anyone on an insightful self-exploration journey. The artist’s debut release, “Simulation” EP, was highly appreciated and definitely served as an introduction to his distinct style, which takes influences from the early days of pure psychedelia, complemented with warping soundscapes, delayed guitar chords and inspiring arrangements.
Founded by Atouck back in 2012, Soundsphere celebrates 10 years of activity, a time in which numerous audio productions, live performances, art exhibitions and incognito events have been managed by an international team that includes artists like Miron Ghiu, Electronic Emotions, Paul Addie, Arte Sacra Atelier, Lala Misosniky, Mila Drone, Pagan Interface, Ciprian Purcaru, DesuEx Sounds, Ana-Maria Irimia, Alina Usurelu, Mars And Daemons, TWFE, Materia Signata and many many others from all over the world.
“You don’t really need a well-defined concept to start any project. Some things fall into place at the right time. We could consider some of the tracks from the album as gifts because their creation seemed more like downloading files from the Universe’s hard drive.”

Life in reverse takes you on an inward journey of discovery, passing through five different stages. The preparation is meant to stabilize the listener physically, mentally and spiritually for the journey that follows. The journey itself takes you to six different places, accompanied by thick atmospheric textures. At the end of the tracks you can hear the vortex that surrounds you that was there all along. The comedown prepares the listener to come back to where he belongs, bringing good and bad feelings along the way. The afterglow is a souvenir soundtrack which remains with you forever.
