For this episode of our podcast series, we travel to the United Kingdom where Tatler delivered a steaming set at TRMNL that will definitely warm you up for the upcoming weekend.
Hailing from Liverpool, Tatler is a passionate selector whose love for music was apparent from a very young age, setting him on the path to explore more about various styles and genres. He found his love for the underground electronic music scene during his years in Ibiza where he spent most of his days on the world-renowned Ibiza Underground dancefloor, tuning his ears to the highest quality of techno, house and minimal.
Over the last few years, Tatler has graced the decks of many famous venues, including TRMNL at Lab11, The Zoo Project in Ibiza and Roots in Madrid and the highlight of them all, Ibiza Underground. He also created a brand in Liverpool named Freiya which is quickly blossoming into a successful night, booking some of the best artists from around the globe such as Shonky, Arapu, Rossko, Alci, Cally and Viceversa, among others.
“Warming the floor at any event is so important and sets the tone for every other artist to follow. During this set I wanted to create a groovy balance of hypnotic pads with jazz influences and warm basslines laying out a unique blend of minimal house and thus making a special first impression for anyone walking onto the dancefloor.”Tatler
feeder sound 376 mixed by Tatler was recorded live during his last visit to TRMNL in Birmingham and incorporates a variety of dancefloor groovers that have been strung together with great accuracy, creating a fresh and inspiring blend of underground sounds.
