mmm ltd – mmm EP [Pressure Traxx Silver Series]

Romanian DJs and producers Dan Andrei, Emi and Cap join forces for the 15th release of Pressure Traxx Silver Series in the form of mmm EP under their mmm ltd alias. Here it is, three tracks that will give you a taste of that distinct Romanian minimal sound that will make you dance in just one second. Founded by Frost and Einzelkind in 2014, the label is widely known for its amazing release which includes artists like Vinyl Speed Adjust, Priku, Tulbure and Suciu, among others.

Well, about the Romanian artists, there’s a lot of information and music out there already, starting from their memorable performances all over the place, their substantial contribution to the international underground scene as well as their releases with top-notch labels worldwide. This project surely speaks for itself while adding extra spice to a catalogue that includes collaborations with [a:rpia:r], Amphia, Contur or Catren, to name just a few.

The record kicks off with “Splif”, a laid-back composition that enjoys engaging vocal cuts all over, while the background textures and patterns deliver a taste of carefully crafted minimlasitic vibes. On the flipside the atmospheres go up and cosmic with “Provizoriu” while the closing cut “Blat Pufos” displays an engaging arrangemnet, infused with broken beats, exotic insertions and shuffling percussion. A must-have for collectors and selectors alike!
