FloatingChord returns with its second release, featuring one original track and two remixes signed by Rhadoo, one of the most prominent figures in the Romanian electronic music scene. There’s definitely no need for any fancy introductions as everybody knows him very well, but it’s worth mentioning that his reinterpretations will most likely ruin your dancing shoes as you won’t be able to stop moving once you start listening to them. Here, he uses various aliases in order to differentiate between styles and send out the proper vibes.

Alongside Petre Inspirescu and Raresh as [a:rpia:r], Rhadoo stands out as one of the pioneers of Romanian minimal and microhouse, being well-known for his collaborations with renowned imprints such as Cadenza, Cocoon, Amphia, Nervmusic, Fabric and Zebra Records, among many many others. His performances are always highly acclaimed and he never ceases to impress with his carefully picked selections wherever he goes.

Side A is reserved for “Dubtraxx”, an uptempo groover with smooth dub infusions, solid minimalistic arrangements and an ever-evolving atmosphere. An original title from the FloatingChord duo (Vlad Dinu & Boola), the track embodies their vision of what an underground electronic cut would sound like. On the flipside we find Rhadoo‘s remixes of “Escape Through A Dream” and “Zundp” as F.U.P. and Nea Marin, two massive dancefloor weapons, one delivering deep hypnotic sounds while the other drops an abstract yet energetic vibe perfect for laid-back selections recommended for eclectic sets at the seaside. A must-have for collectors and selectors alike!
