This Friday we invite up-and-coming artist Yes’in to deliver the vibes here at feeder sound, so adjust the volume of your speakers and enjoy with the volume up.

Born in Casablanca, It’s there where Yassine Hafdane aka Yes’in gathered all his knowledge on African, eastern and western music along with all the wide spectrum of traditional music Morocco can provide. Now he’s based in Berlin, continuously building on his career as a DJ and producer while also running his own venture NotOnLabel, where he released his debut LP “Dikrayat”, along with two other amazing materials from DRSCHW and Luca Torre.

“One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”

Ever since he understood these words, Yes’in hasn’t stopped collecting records, travelling the world and dispatching fresh productions via labels like Rockets Audio, Cosmo Records, Polen and Paramour, aside from his own.

“I felt very honoured and pumped when Feeder approached me for their podcast series. After a long break doing my papa duty, I recorded this mix using almost only music from myself and close friends, people I’ve met personally, among them Volkan Akin, Giuliano Lomonte, Diogo Pandilla, Thomas Melchior, Alci and Chris Chorda.”
