exclusive premiere: Gienero – Milode (Original Mix) [FanFar’On]
Born in the south of France and now living in Paris, Fabien Gienero or shortly Gienero is the first artist signed to FanFar’On Records, delivering a three-tracker titled “Milode EP” alongside Silat Beksi on remix duties. Already supported by people like Chez Damier or Ben Vedren, the material showcases the young producer’s skills with elegance and brings different vibes to the table while opening the first chapter of the label’s story with style. Sharing both Madrid and Paris as a home base, the venture is managed by the French artist Vincent Giumelli, a well-known Parisian DJ & producer emerging from the house music scene of late 2000.
Aside from being an electronic music producer and selector, Gienero is also a bass player who runs his own label Delaro Records, while working as a sound engineer at the famous Badaboum club in Paris where numerous top-quality events took place over the past 10 years.
Naming the EP, the original take on “Milode” reveals a groovy and steady-paced minimalistic rhythm flavoured with hypnotic arrangements and textures, eerie glitched vocal samples and alluring bells and pads. An exotic aroma engulfs the whole journey which twists and swirls into a flawless organic soundscape. A perfect choice for steaming dimly lightened dancefloors worldwide.
Following, “Nice After” drops a more tech-house vibe designed with punchy drumming patterns and smoothly placed cuts, a twisted bassline and electric effects that will make anyone want to dance in an instant. This is definitely a more flor-to-the-floor piece perfect for peak-time moments at any party. Silat Beksi‘s remix takes the title track into a spatial dimension, adding warm progressive elements, lush breakdowns and a change of tempo suitable for summer selections.
