Mori Miller - Mot [Lauter Records] 01

exclusive premiere: Mori Miller – Mot [Lauter Records]

Born in Tel Aviv and now based in Berlin, Mori Miller is a multi-instrumentalist, skilled composer and electronic music lover. After taking a musical break, he’s now back on track with Prologue EP on Lauter Records, alongside Cupido and Thomas Stieler on remix duties. Early support arrives from artists like Raresh, Ruben Mandolini, Daniel Meister, Rhadow, Primarie, Marco Faraone, Chris Fortier, Takashi Watanabe, Francesco Pico, Gabriele Gilleri and Chris Burstein, among others.

Curated by Alex Heide and Maximillion, Luxembourg-based venture Lauter explores various domains that revolve around electronic music, from organising amazing events to hosting a renowned podcast showcase and releasing quality materials from talented artists worldwide. Read more about some of their releases by Dario, K POD & Indygo, Vlad Jet and their recent anniversary Various Artists compilations.

Available only via Bandcamp, the almost Ricardo-esque minimal groover “Mot” delivers a swinging steady-paced rhythm that gets smoothly complemented by a solid bassline and mysterious, glitched vocal samples that flow into intricate and driving arrangements. The other original cuts are equally engaging, each one presenting a different vibe, making the EP diverse, intriguing and dancefloor-ready. The remix by Cupido is adding some funky flavour to the whole journey while Thomas Stieler’s version is as laid back as it could be. A highly recommended release right here for collectors and selectors alike!

Grab your copy of “Mot” exclusively from Bandcamp and of Prologue EP from Beatport or Traxsource.
