The latest instalment in Saraw‘s catalogue features 13 tracks written and produced by Juan Carvajal, Root, Atmann, Iza, Akute, Lowfek, Zlatin, Third Eye, Beckhauser, Norwin P., Roban, Andre! and our featured artist for today, USA-based DJ and producer Deku. Based in Tunisia, Saraw is an independent record label launched to deeply explore the underground minimal scene and promote talented artists worldwide.

A true shapeshifter, Deku has been at the forefront of Miami’s underground scene for more than a decade. With a unique selection of productions dispatched under various aliases, he is among the leaders of the American southeastern metropolis. On the decks, he has blessed many dancefloors in Miami such as Electric Pickle, Treehouse, and Do Not Sit On The Furniture, in El Paso TX for Club Here I Love You, some clandestine parties and afters in NYC and around the world, including Avi and Colectiva Gazette in Romania. His distinct and elegant sound captivates the minds of his listeners, sending them on a fragmented and pleasant music trip.

“Sinti” by Deku closes the compilation with a raw and experimental minimal sound designed with shuffling and broken drumming patterns, glitched layers, deeply modulated background textures and eerie vocal samples. The other 12 tracks are equally immersive and twisted, exploring ethereal dimensions, dark tones and mysterious ambient layouts. Listen to the snippets below:
