The latest digital drop from the Spanish record label Never Is Eternal features two deep and driving cuts signed by N&O alongside Romanian duo Sakdat & Balaur on remix duties, elegantly packed in the form of “Someone I Can Trust EP”. Early support arrives from artists like Mihai Pol, Miroloja, Giuliano Lomonte, Swoy, Olivian Nour, Vern, Rhadow, Chad Andrew, Los Bastoneros and Primarie, among others.

“Someone I Can Trust is an EP influenced by the time I’ve played in London in this kind of never ending weekends. I came back to my hometown with many ideas where I mostly show in my productions. The minimal underground music has lots of ways to tell your own history, your feelings and for this EP I was feeling very emotional about what I’ve left in London.”

Born in Valencia, Nando Martinez aka N&O has always been surrounded by music, starting with early influences from soul, jazz, rock and other classic genres. When he was young, he studied music at the conservatory in his hometown, playing instruments such as guitar and bass. Nowadays he’s focused on underground electronic music, especially minimal and breakbeat. This settled in after he spent a long period of time in London.

Throughout time, he played in well-known venues like The Cause, Star Lane, Café 1001, Orange Yard while being a resident selector at the Warm Lab UK, where he shared the booth with Gabriel Amaru, Mihigh, Prichindel, Lizz, Suciu and many others. His productions reflect an extravagant sound, deep and dark atmospheres, string and woodwind instruments that have a personal character that says a lot about the artist’s mind.
