For the 350th-anniversary session of our ongoing podcast series, we invite Valeria Croft to set the mood for the upcoming weekend, so make sure you got those dancing shoes ready and hit play to warm up!
Helsinki-based Valeria Croft is a producer and DJ with almost 10 years of intense activity in the international underground electronic music scene. She began her artistic career in a small but well-known club in St. Petersburg and throughout time, she performed at various locations across Europe and Asia, always delivering top-quality selections to the people. Her personal style incorporates deep and classic house music, funky cuts and different shades of techno. When it comes to production, she completely immerses herself in studio activities and production workflows, laying out groovy rhythms and textures that include her trippy jazzy vocals here and there.
Valeria Croft has also participated with a track for our latest humanitarian endeavour “Peace in Ukraine” Various Artists series while her personal catalogue features collaborations with labels like The Sound Collective, Pulsar Music, Karmaworld, Heritage, Moonfire Music Lab, Body Parts and Piston Recordings, among others.
“This mix is a groovy combination of broken beats that merge with percussive minimal rhythms.”Valeria Croft
feeder sound 350 mixed by Valeria Croft sets off with a swinging minimalistic sound that calls for dance and slowly evolves into a twisted carousel of shuffling drumming patterns, solid basslines and spiralling soundscapes, ready to take anyone on a wavering journey into equally engaging, deep and introspective rhythms. Enjoy with the volume up! 🔊
