This Friday we ride underground minimal waves alongside British up and coming artist Mortalyf who delivers a smooth low slung and driving selection, perfect to warm you up for the upcoming weekend.
Hailing from West Midlands UK, Mortalyf has been pioneering his stripped-back sound for some time now whilst spending the last few years in Nottingham. Nowadays he’s a part of the Leftback family, dropping steaming DJ sets as a resident at the label’s events as well as groovy productions crafted in his own raw and distinct style. Aside from the tracks, remixes and collaborations with Dudley Strangeways and other crew members for the Leftback Intercities series and SONET005 VA, he recently released “Beyond Time EP” with remixes from Herck and Tijn. He also worked with Vuew, Pleasure in Mind, Johnny Johnny, Fixed:Composite and Craft Records, while two years ago he participated in our Open Call for Dj and Producers. Listen to his contributions here and enjoy his recording for our ongoing podcast series below:
