Deventroit opens up with a nod to Motor City. It is a rolling, dubby house that is well designed and comes with shuffling drums and muted neon chords. West then gets edgier with sheet metal snares flapping in a gentle breeze and the firm drums demanding you move down below. Arcardic might be the best of the lot with its heady and autumnal melodies subtly drifting about the mix way up top. It’s deep, warm, vibes and a perfect embodiment of the Ion Ludwig sound.
