exclusive premiere: Stefano Andriezzi – X4 (Son Of Elita Dubby CUT) [Eli.sound]
Eli.sound returns with another amazing instalment in their digital series, this time with Stefano Andriezzi behind four fresh cuts alongside Agustin Barbei and label-head Son Of Elita on remix duties. The Venezuelan imprint has been quite active lately, releasing several various artists compilations that gathered artists from all over the world as well as solid EPs from artists like qqqq, Nicolas Barnes, Lou Flores & Leand, Nektar Agu, Jack Cheler, OutsiDER, Cajal, Parsec, Arthus and others.
Born in Venezuela and now based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Stefano Andriezzi is a DJ and producer with a strong passion for electronic music since he was very young. In the last 10 years, he steadily grew his career as an artist by playing at the most important clubs in the country alongside Leo Pol, Fabe, Ben Rau, Anja Schneider and Bodeler, among others, while also delivering top-quality productions with labels such as Syntaxx Records, Deep Base, Retune Music, Deep Bass Records and his own venture Island Beats Music.
While the original take on X4 reveals an uptempo minimal sound, Son Of Elita elegantly strips down the layers keeping it raw and dubby. Additional twisted effects and glitches are added here and there, while the background textures remain warm and dreamy. The other tracks are equally enjoyable, delivering a complex blend of house, microhouse and minimal tech, while the closing cut goes beyond genres into an abstract uplifting dimension.
