exclusive premiere: Estmode – Fat Mailo [Vidre Hand Craft Series]

The Hand Craft Series is a limited edition concept coming from Estmode through their label Vidre focused on visual art and modern electronic music. Each release is unique, having its own cover art manually painted while the music elegantly focuses on minimal rhythms and deep textures. This record will arrive soon on 204gr transparent vinyl numbered by engravings and having different artworks included in the pack.

Ermir Zotaj and Simone Papi aka Estmode are well-known in the underground community, having productions brought forward through labels like Vara Records, Morchelle Music, Bordei and Ukiyo. This evening we invite you to explore this inspiring release in more detail exclusively on feeder sound, so adjust the volumes of your speakers and enjoy the meandering sounds of A1. Fat Mailo:

“The idea of the VHC005 starts during the lockdown. It was necessary for us to create something different from usual, something to listen to at home. Fat Mailo was the last track of the EP we finished and it started all with the beautiful Behringer Arp 2600. The sound of this analogue machine and the type of harmony we use characterized the whole track. It’s a fusion between jazz music and minimalism. The second track that we made was Master Joe. This track is a tribute to a master jazz musician, Joe Zawinul, who influenced us since we started the Estmode project. In the second track, we collaborated with Rupilly who worked with the voices.”
