Lescale Recordings proudly presents its 15th release and welcomes Phoq [Stamp Records], the French artist based in Paris, with his fresh ‘Tortoise Party EP’. Title track opens with a deep tech energy combining atmospheric synths, claps and echoing vocals. ‘Dating My Avatar’ follows the lead with a propulsive beat, featuring hit-hats and a deep synth work with dreamy and techy elements. In ‘Nord Dramatique’, Phoq digs in a more minimal territory exploring mysterious dark soundscapes with edgy pulses and atmospheric pads. ‘2500xEl’ lowers down the tempo and is beautifully melodic and hauntingly mysterious with orchestral pulses, synth pads and rich textures creating a relaxing rhythm.
