Based on the sunny island of Ibiza, Jacobo Saavedra is a part of Seriously Agency and works with promoters such as MTM, Zoo Project, Zero Logistic, MuM or Mate, in venues like Octan Ibiza, Cova Santa, Bora Bora, Lio or Atzaró Spring Party. In his career, he also had the opportunity to play at Miami Music Week, the legendary Lion and Lamb London, Macarena Club Barcelona and some other venues from Madrid and Malaga. Nowadays, he hosts “Follow the Groove”, a weekly radio show on Pure Ibiza Radio, while also working on new productions with his favourite analogue instruments, the Elektron A4 and the Korg ESX1.

Among the imprints Jacobo Saavedra collaborated with so far we find Kina Music, HouseOnWax, Kosmophono, Floorpiece, Totoyov, Inwave, Vandalism, Re.Face and Whoyostro while new materials for Mate LTD, Totoyov Gold Series and his own record label, SVDR, are announced to arrive soon. A new project alongside Jay Nortown under the JNJS alias is in the works as well, focused on delivering both digital and vinyl productions.

“For this podcast, I have selected some of my most classic albums, such as Perlon, Primitive or Wiggle, and many new releases, always with a minimal sound, without forgetting house, since I like to be eclectic within a context. There are also three promos of my next projects included, such as SVDR1 or MATELTD and a remix by Silat Beksi.”
