After a successful first release in November 2019 with Romanian duo Spiri:tual at the controls, London-based vinyl-only label Enfasi Records proudly presents its second pressing with a roaring deployment of established producers. Announced to arrive in June in a limited number of copies, ENFASI002 is a Various Artists compilation focused on forward-thinking minimal grooves brought forward by local acts Vlad Arapasu and Chrivu, French artist Petit Batou and Russian wiz-kid Tripmastaz under his fresh alias Trimastaz Enterprises. Founded by Davide Decay and Max Frisina from Bread & Butter London, the imprint looks set to make waves in the growing minimal scene and their music sure delivers the vibes. Now, let’s dive into this beautiful selection right here and explore each track in more depth:

Side A opens with “Simplicité” by Vlad Arapasu, a truly hypnotic minimalistic piece designed with syncopated drumming patterns, twisted synths and modular bleeps, warm background melodies and smoothly glitched microlayers that seamlessly rotate into organic sound fractals. Following, Tripmastaz Enterprises debuts on the label with a powerful and gloomy cut in the form of “Storm Crew”, dropping a steaming rhythm backed up by solid bassline variations and spaced-out vocal-infused breakdowns.

On the flipside the journey begins with Petit Batou‘s vibrant groove “Pinball”, a steady-paced narrative built with ever-evolving synth patterns and progressive aspects. The track transforms slowly, maintaining an energetic feeling throughout. Chrivu closes the wax with “Vectorial”, a pumping composition perfect for a dimly lighted dancefloor where the funky bassline and prominent percussion elegantly merge with abstract effects and spacious breathing moments. A must-have 12″ for collectors and selectors alike!
