The second vinyl-only instalment to arrive from Modvlar Records features three fresh cuts signed by Slovenian DJ and producer Valentino Kanzyani and a remix by label-head Dragosh. With the first pressing released back in 2019 and “Space Traveler” Various Artists compilation dispatched in digital format on Bandcamp last year, the imprint enjoys massive support from the international community while featuring amazing tracks from artists like Nobodi, Monika Ross, Nomo.ar, Andu Simion, Bogdan Sabau, Microlab, Enivrèz Vous and Rawpoint, among others.

Valentino Kanzyani is well-known for his intense activity in the scene for quite some time now, being considered one of the founding fathers of Slovenian techno and a true visionary when it comes to mixing or music-making. His solid reputation is backed by numerous performances around the world, countless top-quality releases, his collaboration with Umek for the Recycled Loops project and for his work as a publisher through his Jesus Loved You imprint founded in 2005. Dragosh joins him on this material with a reinterpretation of “Ibiza Change” adding even more spice to the whole journey, which we invite you to enjoy in full-length exclusively on feeder sound:

While the original cut reveals a steady-paced rhythm designed with several variations, ever-evolving background textures and mystical vocals in focus, Dragosh introduces a new version of the drumming patterns while taking the other elements into a deeper dimension, perfect for the afterhours. The breakdowns maintain the same energetic effect and the vocals get blurred into ethereal whispers.

The B-Side opens with the strong and uplifting minimal vibes of “Calm Down” and closes with the funky microhouse movements of “House Mod”. Both tracks exhibit intricate layering and carefully crafted sequences which can take anyone for a mind drift in seconds while the body starts moving. Yet another showcase of true ingenuity coming from both artists, so we totally recommend getting this 12″ in your record bag or collection as soon as it drops!
