This Friday we invite you to enjoy an immersive dub techno vinyl-only selection delivered by Italian artist Giacomo Pellegrino.
Passionate about music from an early age, Giacomo Pellegrino explored various genres and subgenres, incorporating numerous influences into the sound he brings forward today. Focused on electronic music, his productions or DJ sets always follow clear narratives, ranging from pure house and techno to minimal, microhouse or dub techno. Throughout time, he worked on numerous projects published on vinyl or in digital format by labels like Carac, Purism Wave, Signatune, Whoyostro, House of Gold and Deep Freaks, while also releasing amazing materials on his own imprints, Vibe Experience and Detroit Side.
It is not simple to find immediately your identity in music. I think that it takes time to discover what you really love. I grew up in a family that loves music: my father had a band. In fact, at home, there were always guitars and synths around. When I was driving around with him, I listened to Queen and Pink Floyd. My musical growth is characterized by house music, funk music and Detroit techno. I think that I collected all of this over the years, expressing my character in my production and in my DJ sets. The vinyl-only podcast that I made for Feeder.ro represents who I am now.
