Today’s podcast is brought to you by Malinka and Doug Bass, two DJs and producers based in Spain searching to make a difference, mixing genres without prejudice, creating outstanding concepts and always wanting to transform their sets into an experience that covers various musical styles.

Malinka is a Polish-born DJ and producer, currently residing in Mallorca where she originally found her passion for playing and making music. She began her career alongside the Pannik Doctors Collective, playing to crowds on the Spanish underground scene where she found herself captivated by the mesmeric energy and unique sonic signatures. From here on out, Malinka took her distinct vision and relentless dedication to numerous events across Spain, Germany, Poland and beyond while starting to work on her own productions. Among the imprints she collaborated with we find Spliced Vinyl Recordings, Vandalism Musique Group, Conceptual Deep, eMBi Music and Doug’s MyGarage Records while last year she launched her own label Hearth Records alongside V.I.C.A.R.I. at the controls for the first EP in the catalogue titled “Hoth”.

Having started his musical career as a Dj in Mallorca at the age of 17, Doug Bass is a complete artist who seamlessly manages both Vinyl and CDJ on any soundsystem. He also got into production at an early age, exploring numerous styles and genres until settling for electronic music. Some of his works have been published by Dark and Sonorous Recordings, Agua y Sed, LW Recordings, Vandalism Black Series, Inner Circle and Sensebeat Label, while others were delivered through his label MyGarage Records, which also functions as an event platform dedicated to promoting top-quality house and techno music.

The set features various musical styles, from house to minimal. The set is full of energetic rhythms, from cheerful sounds to heavy bass and vocal tracks.
