Today’s episode of the feeder sound podcast series is hosted by Italian DJ and producer Gladis who’s going to share her favourite sounds at the moment with all of us, dropping a very dynamic and eclectic selection for those in the know.
Passionate about electronic music since she was young, Gladis spent countless hours behind the decks, enchanting crowds from Venice to Barcelona, London, Berlin and Ibiza with her vibrant selections while expanding her mind and creating a base for musical training. Her residencies at Tag Club Venice and Tenax Club Florence remain memorable to this day, strongly influencing her style, incorporating various shades of dance music deeply rooted in house, techno, breakbeat and minimal.
Aside from relentlessly digging for music and mixing, Gladis also started to work on her own productions, dropping “Anagrammi” with Tenax Recordings and “Green Carrot EP” with the Dutch vinyl-only label miNIMMAl movement in 2020, while other tracks are surely in the making as she takes her time with this process. Now, let’s dive into this twisted, energetic journey ahead and settle the mood for the upcoming weekend.
Music is a set of sounds that blend and fit together and must be harmonious and pleasant. And so I choose records, on instinct, based on what they convey to me. I chose these for this podcast because I’m an eclectic person. There’s a mix between house, minimal techno and electro influences. I hope you like it!
