NEW and unusual canvas painted by AEUL

2021 AEUL painting

Despite the current situation, we have good news for you. In these challenging times, Aeul‘s creature constantly appears on Bucharest’s streets. In recent years, Aeul‘s pig grows, and it started to have a deeper conversation with the passersby through small messages attached to the images. Since many pigs are being removed, Aeul was motivated to paint canvases from time to time, creating a stable home for some of the creatures.

The new and unusual canvas painted by Romanian artist Aeul illustrates his connection with the graffiti underground scene and at the same time, it captures the Bucharest vibe.

The small pig represented in this artwork looks is being aware of many things happening now and cries with long tears. The minimalistic approach, combined with Aeul‘s skill, results in an incredible art piece that touches profound thoughts (awareness) and intense emotions (sadness), depicted using only a few lines and colours.

The artwork, titled The Crying Pig, is painted with spray on a 50 x 50 cm canvas, recently found by the artist in Bucharest – shop here 🎁
