feeder sound exclusive premiere: K POD & Indygo – Superhot [Lauter Records]

Luxembourg-based Lauter Records announces its next release to arrive on 28th December with K POD and Indygo dropping a steaming EP titled “Mindfulness” alongside kpo and Philipp Lichtblau on remix duties. Designed with solid minimalistic rhythms flavoured with driving melodies, twisted effects and truly elegant deep nuances, all the tracks provide an uplifting journey into the realms of modern electronic music and surely add even more magic to the label’s amazing discographic history.

K POD is known for his releases with Monocord Records, Distance Music, Innocent Music and trndmsk while his productions were appreciated by Dubfire who qualified him into the top 10 of Bridge_48 contest, giving him a possibility to develop music production skills in Barcelona. In his works, he’s mostly focused on sound design, arrangement and harmony while maintaining a minimalistic and raw groove. In his forthcoming tracks, listeners will be able to hear soul and jazz influences, as well as his vocal, harmony and melody along with carefully crafted grooves that call for a dance.

“My goal with my tracks is to stay as deep as possible but keep the dancefloor sweaty.”

“Our inspirations are coming from live jams and good fun. Each track is different because we don’t try to limit ourselves to a specific sound considered a sort of fashionable. We stayed true to what’s emerging inside of us, as musicians, not caring if that’s really what labels are looking for at the moment. The release is kinda rewarding for ourselves for the hard but pleasant work. No big expectations, we just enjoy to be heard, to share music and enrich our discography with another weapon!”

K POD & Indygo

Indygo‘s works and remixes were released throughout time on labels like trndmsk, Souq Records or MONADA and brought him to the Beatport’s top 100 Downtempo charts as well as collaborations with artists like San Miguel, Sangeet and Andre P. He loves to experiment with the sounds of the environment and to combine different styles. He’s closely related with Poznan’s club Schron, Prozak 2.0 and Smolna. Also, his releases gave him an opportunity to play abroad in places like Crack Bellmer, Zukio Darzas, Vibronica Festival and Fort Fest Carnaval.

🔥 “Superhot” sure delivers a solid house sound flavoured with a deep yet driving narrative where the breakdowns create cosmic journeys ready to sweep through all the frequencies with style. The other two original cuts explore alluring rhythms, where vocal samples will guide you in and out swinging soundwaves while the two remixes take the story even further, into uncharted musical territories. Highly enjoyable and definitely a highly recommended album right here!
