Ready to blast some groovy electronica through the speakers? Here’s a recording signed by Lu Klein to get you into that special weekend mood!
Lu Klein‘s artistic career has its roots in Groningen, Netherlands, where she immersed herself into underground sounds, mixing house, techno, breaks and minimal-infused sounds at the local parties for quite some time now. In 2016 she co-founded The Cave collective, organising warehouse parties in unique locations and showcasing local artists as well as rising talents from all over the world. Digging deep into the treasures of local record stores has certainly influenced her style and contributed to her ability to incorporate a broad spectrum of electronica into her musical narratives which include several performances at local clubs like Paradigm, Simplon and OOST.
Lu Klein also participated with a set titled “Troopers Hike” to our latest Open Call for DJs and producers which you can listen here. Now, let’s prepare for an extended 2h and 30min recording that will sweep through the frequencies with style:
“I generally like to take my inspiration from across various genres such as house, techno, electro and breakbeat, and transfer those in my extended afterhour sessions to a minimalistic and deep but groove-filled level. The most important aspect for me is to keep it smooth, but at the same time interesting, inviting the listener on a journey that evolves organically and allows you to drift off and dive into an experience of multiple musical layers and dimensions.” – Lu Klein
feeder sound 282 mixed by Lu Klein reveals a groovy, transcending and hypnotic journey which incorporates fresh gems as well as tracks released in the past three years. The set was recorded using 2 XDJs and a Xone 42 mixer, with the first hour being straight uplifting and the second part aiming at a deeper direction, perfect for that afterhours laid-back mood.
Join our next and last live streaming session for this year featuring Bucurie (dj set) and iZZY iZVNE (live painting) on Wednesday, October 14th, starting with 6:00 PM (Romania time, GMT+3), on www.feeder.ro & www.facebook.com/feeder.ro.
