The first episode of this year’s feeder sound live streaming series invited Teluric and Maria Bălan to join forces in order to merge electronic music and visual art into an intense 2h session which aired on April 23rd. Time to enjoy the musical selection on soundcloud!
Mihai Mihalcea aka Teluric recorded the set in his studio in Târgu Jiu while Maria Bălan painted a 2×1.5m canvas in her apartment in Bucharest due to the lockdown imposed by the authorities during the first stage of the pandemic. It was the first time we had to stream the videos from two different locations yet the result is simply amazing, as both artists created timeless compositions. During the transmission, VJ VLC added some eye-catching effects across the video to enhance the visual experience. Watch it on Youtube and read more about it here.
Well-known for his releases with Cakeman Records, Bleu Ciel and Eating Records, Teluric recently launched his Bandcamp page with a 10 tracks digital release called “Immaterial” while also collaborating with Romar on Crossedgrooves 003 and with Melodie, as Glueped, on “Peren” EP and “Marble Grounds” EP on remix duties alongside JamRat.
“This set is inspired by my recent digging sessions – an excursion through some of my favourite artists’ work, old and new, sprinkled with a couple of my unreleased jams.” – Teluric
feeder sound LIVE with Teluric opens with a spacious laid-back vibe and slowly gains momentum, introducing swinging steady-paced rhythms and deep textures as the selection flows. From organic microhouse to straight 4/4 stripped-down cuts the set has it all, displaying an inspiring musical narrative throughout the whole journey. Enjoy!
Starting with 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16th (Romania time, GMT+3), we’ll go 🔴 LIVE with Dan Andrei (dj set) & Serebe (live painting) @ Romanian Design Week. Save the date and join the event here!
